Cellular Control - CJAMTM CPC Cellular Detection and Control System


CJAM-CPC is a new addition to CAWireless' suite of solutions for controlling the use of illegal or unauthorized cells phones. Based on a cellular testing system, the CJAM-CPC can control and eliminate the illegal use of cell phones by inmates in prisons, criminals during the committing of a crime, or ensuring complete cell phone security within a building. Our system can be used for both CDMA and GSM communication, providing both hardware and software interfaces making the CJAM-CPC user friendly.

Designed by cellular engineers, the CJAM-CPC solution monitors and interacts with cell phones by way of RF receivers and RF signal generators for both the Reverse and Forward channels. Using an integrated GPS receiver the CJAM-CPC is capable of precisely timed firing of signals and precise synchronization with the GSM and CDMA networks under test.

The CJAM-CPC can be deployed in its own chassis with connectivity through it's built in Ethernet port. The standalone version of CJAM-CPC provides complete portability allowing the system to be deployed as needed. The self contained model has the keyboard, screen and Ethernet interface built in.

As part of CJAM's Distributed Antenna System (DAS) the coverage area of the system increases to almost any size building. Using CellAntenna's MOFORSAS, the Multiple Output Fibre Optic Smart Antenna System, and CJAM-CPC can be centrally located covering multiple buildings in a campus. The CJAM -CPC can be used as well in conjunction with CJAM-DT (cellular location system) and CJAM-NF (cellular jamming system) to provide a full solution for cell phone security issues all within a single DAS deployment.

CJAM-CPC Features include:

- Coverage available of all standard cellular bands 450/850/900/1800/1900/2100 MHz ( Standard: 800/1900)

- GPS receiver for mobile tracking/mapping features

- Determination of the total number of cell phones in operation in a given area

and MIN, ESN, PRN , PRL for CDMA Produces a list of the cell phones in a given area with TMSI, IMSI, IMEI for GSM

- List of each cell phone in a given area along with the Cellular Service Provider they are connected to. Send an SMS to any cell phone within a defined area.

- Ring the cell phone.

- Exclude from monitor

- Disable the SIM of any phone in a given area ( until power recycling)

CJAM - CPC System

The CJAM - CPC controller and operator console are connected to the in building distributed antenna system (DAS). The in building DAS propagates the cellular uplink and downlink RF signals throughout the facility or complex. Illegal or unauthorized cell phones will attach to the in building DAS as cell phones are designed to connect to the antenna that has the greatest signal strength. Once a cell phone is connected to the in building DAS and making and receiving calls the CJAM-CPC system will monitor the cellular RF frequencies, detect and identify illegal or unauthorized cell phones by their unique identification number.



Intuitive Operator Interface: CJAM-CPC has a wide variety of tools that the system operator can access to conduct network testing and cell phone detection.



Full Spectrum Network Analysis : CJAM-CPC can collect network parameters from all active bands simultaneously in real - time. This allows for real-time network characterization and parameter collection. During the network survey all beacon parameters including band and channel, protocol, received power, SNR, quality, service provider, etc. are collected and displayed.





Real-Time Handset Inventory:
During real-time monitoring, the system also provides a display of all subscribers present within the operational area. These subscribers can then be selected to be tested using one of the systems many test features.
